Challenge Number Three: Springtime! (part one)

Springtime in London and springtime in Seattle are very similar, so this next challenge is perfect! The challenge called for going out and finding the "London Look" in Seattle. When I think of the "London Look", I think of edginess, individuality, and originality. There are many places in Seattle that possess just that, but here are a few:

1. Cairo

Cairo is one of my favorite thrift shops in Seattle. Not only do they have an amazing collection of clothes (ranging from dresses to funky sweatshirts to awesome shoes) but it also doubles as a music venue that showcases Seattle bands. It's very small and quaint but is still super edgy and like nowhere I've ever been before!

2. Sonic Boom Records

Sonic Boom records is one of those records stores that you could spend hours in perusing through all the cd's and vinyls. Everyone who works there is super nice, and the setup is an art in itself!

3. Spine and Crown Books

Spine and Crown books sure is a find! It's on a main street in Seattle, but you could certainly pass by it without noticing (I did for the first six months I lived here). With this being said, it's not something that should be missed. It's a pretty small store that has piles and piles of books from playwrights, to comics, to classic novels. I feel like this store could definitely be on a side street in London where one could sit and have a cup of tea and get lost in books all day.
